Crysencio Summerville news

Roma want Summerville

AS Roma are reportedly ramping up efforts to secure West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville this summer, potentially beating Manchester United to the signing.

The Giallorossi are focused on strengthening their left-wing options and have already submitted a €46m bid for Summerville.

While West Ham recently rejected this initial proposal, Roma remains committed to the pursuit and intends to submit a revised offer for the talented winger.

Summerville has reportedly expressed his desire to move following West Ham’s relegation to the Championship, signaling his willingness to join the Italian side.

Manchester United also maintains a strong interest in the former Leeds United attacker, which may force them to accelerate their negotiations to avoid losing out on the player.

United’s preferred strategy involves offloading Marcus Rashford before finalizing a deal for Summerville; however, they may be forced to pivot if negotiations for Rashford do not progress.

Current reports suggest Rashford is not close to a departure from the club and is expected to remain part of the squad for the upcoming season.
