Hong Kong is scheduled to release second-quarter industrial production and producer price figures on Monday, marking a relatively quiet day for Asia-Pacific economic activity.
Over the latest three-month period, industrial output rose 3.1% year over year, while producer prices increased 17.7% annually.
New Zealand will publish August results from BusinessNZ’s Performance of Services Index. The index stood at 50.6 in July.
Japan will release revised July industrial production figures. No change is expected from the preliminary reading, which showed monthly increases of 0.1% in production and 4.1% in capacity utilization.
China will publish August new-loan and M2 money supply data. Loans are forecast to rise by CNY480.0 billion, following a CNY340.0 billion decline in July. M2 is expected to grow 7.6% annually, down from 7.7% in the previous month.
