Industry analysts and the company project that, pending regulatory approval, the injectable therapy could generate multi‑billion‑dollar annual revenues across COPD and related indications such as asthma.
On Tuesday, the Trump administration finalized the permanent appointment of four senior leaders at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, following the earlier nomination of Heidi Overton to head the agency. The three officials, previously serving in acting roles, will retain their positions permanently. Michael Davis, a psychiatrist, assumes leadership of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research; former Merck executive Karim Mikhail takes charge of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research; and attorney Bret Koplow, with the FDA since 2011, becomes director of the Center for Tobacco Products, STAT reports.
