Duluth, Ga. — The Atlanta Gladiators, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Nashville Predators and the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced the signing of forward Corson Hopwo for the 2026‑27 season.
Hopwo is signing his first professional contract with the Gladiators after four seasons of collegiate hockey at Acadia University (2022‑26). The 25‑year‑old recorded 13 points (8 goals, 5 assists) in 20 games during his senior season, and finished his college career with 51 points (21 goals, 30 assists) over 99 games.
Before attending Acadia, Hopwo spent four seasons in the Western Hockey League, primarily with the Medicine Hat Tigers and a short stint with the Lethbridge Hurricanes at the end of the 2021‑22 season. He accumulated 106 points (47 goals, 59 assists) in 201 WHL games.
