Australia A clinch 125‑run triumph over India A in first unofficial ODI
PuduchERRY: Nathan McSweeney and Mahli Beardman emerged as the architects of Australia A’s commanding 125‑run victory over India A in Tuesday’s inaugural unofficial ODI, exploiting a fast, two‑pace surface to overwhelm the hosts on short ball.
After Australia A were reduced to 87‑5, McSweeney came in to craft a composed 123 off 135 deliveries, moving the visitors forward to 274. Will Sutherland contributed 77, and together the pair anchored a vital 141‑run sixth‑wicket partnership with Mahli Beardman.

India A slid to 58/4 when Ruturaj Gaikwad was out for 15, and despite an effort from Rajat Patidar, the batting collapses tightened quickly.
