Australian model and swimwear designer Sahara Ray has died at the age of 34. In a statement provided to TMZ, her family confirmed she passed away on Sunday evening at a hospital, surrounded by loved ones. The cause of death has not been disclosed.

Ray was the daughter of renowned Australian surfer Tony Ray. She launched her eponymous label, Sahara Ray Swim, in 2014, building a notable following for her designs. She garnered wider public attention in 2016 when photographed on holiday with pop star Justin Bieber. Earlier this year, in January, she welcomed her first child, a daughter named Snow.
