Loren Mack, a veteran executive with extensive experience in mixed martial arts, is transitioning to the bare-knuckle boxing sector as Bare Knuckle Boxing (BKB) has named him Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategy. The move marks a pivotal step in BKB’s efforts to position itself as a premier global combat sports promotion.
Mack’s appointment reflects the strategic vision of BKB founder Mike Vazquez and CEO David Tetreault to transform the organization into a mainstream, internationally recognized entity. In his new role, Mack will spearhead marketing initiatives aimed at increasing the promotion’s visibility, expanding its social media reach, and strengthening its audience engagement. Additionally, he will oversee event ticket sales and manage corporate partnerships to drive revenue growth.
As part of BKB’s leadership team, Mack will contribute to shaping the company’s long-term strategy, focusing on brand expansion and audience development. “This represents the biggest opportunity in combat sports today,” Mack stated. “BKB has already built significant momentum as the largest and most-watched bare-knuckle boxing organization globally. I’m eager to elevate the brand further, expand our international presence, and connect BKB with millions of new fans worldwide.”
Currently, BKB events air on VICE TV in the U.S., with preliminary bouts streamed on TikTok. Mack highlighted the promotion’s upcoming broadcast opportunities after the conclusion of its current VICE partnership, signed in February 2025, signaling potential avenues for broader distribution and viewership growth.
Founded in 2015 by Vazquez and Dhafir Harris (“Dada 5000”), BKB initially operated under the BYB Extreme Fighting Series name. It later merged with the UK-based BKB in 2021, completing the acquisition in 2024 and adopting the unified BKB brand in 2025. This evolution has solidified its status as a leader in the bare-knuckle boxing discipline.
“Loren’s expertise in building global brands and driving business growth is unmatched,” Tetreault remarked. “His two-decade career in sports, combined with his strategic mindset and industry connections, makes him an ideal fit to lead BKB’s next phase of expansion.”
Mack previously served as the PFL’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications, where he played a key role in expanding the promotion’s international reach through broadcasting deals, sponsorship strategies, and global brand positioning. Before that, he was with ONE Championship from 2012 to 2020, holding roles in public relations. He also contributed to the UFC’s early growth under ZUFFA, helping establish its foundation for global success.
