Indonesia is experiencing its most severe wildfire season in a decade, with a thick toxic haze enveloping millions of residents across the region.
The BBC’s Liza Tambunan is reporting from central Kalimantan, where air pollution levels have reached hazardous extremes.
The persistent haze has been linked to hundreds of thousands of respiratory illnesses nationwide and has drifted to neighboring countries such as Singapore and Malaysia.
