Four people sustained minor to moderate injuries during a bear attack at Fukushima Steel Works in Japan on Tuesday.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the Sasakino district residential area following reports from the facility that multiple employees had been targeted by the animal.
Security camera footage captured a black bear pursuing an employee near the facility entrance, causing the individual to fall before chasing toward a nearby building.
As of Tuesday evening, authorities had not yet located or captured the bear, which was believed to be hiding somewhere within the plant grounds.
Japan is home to two bear species: the Asiatic black bear and the brown bear, which inhabits Hokkaido island.
This year has seen a record number of bear-related fatalities across the country.
