Berkshire Hathaway announced on Wednesday an additional $330 million investment in technology firm Bending Spoons, raising its total commitment to $930 million and its equity stake to 4%.
This follows Berkshire Hathaway’s earlier $600 million investment made during Bending Spoons’ initial public offering in July 2026.
The additional investment will be executed via a private placement, whereby Bending Spoons will issue 10 million ordinary shares at $33 each. The deal is contingent upon standard closing conditions.
Bending Spoons acquires digital companies and works to enhance their operations, technology, product development, and monetization. Its portfolio includes Airtable, AOL, Brightcove, Eventbrite, Evernote, Tractive, Vimeo, and WeTransfer.
