The official Dutton Ranch and Paramount+ Instagram accounts shared a new sizzle reel that offers striking glimpses of the remainder of season 1. Captioned “Everything you thought you knew about Rio Paloma is about to change,” the preview hints at a major twist teased by Natalie Alyn Lind to ScreenRant. The footage is shown below:
The most striking element of the new footage is Rip Wheeler’s entry into the 10‑Petals bunkhouse, where he assumes the role of foreman. Beth Dutton adds, “Give me a week, and I’ll know everything there is to know about Beulah Jackson.” Their infiltration of the 10‑Petals, described as “crooked from top to bottom,” signals a calculated offensive.
In another scene, Rip questions Joaquin Reyes (Juan Pablo Raba), “Who put the body on my property?” This direct inquiry indicates his intent to uncover the murder that opens the series. Meanwhile, Rob‑Will Jackson (Jai Courtney), recently out of rehab, engages in another confrontation with Rip, each vying for control of the 10‑Petals.
Violence is inevitable in a Yellowstone story. Even veterinarian Everett McKinney (Ed Harris) arrives armed with a shotgun, lamenting that he thought he’d seen his “last firefight.” All characters will be drawn into the coming clash, as Beth prepares Carter (Finn Little) for “the hard part.”
Hired gunmen approach the Jackson family home, and the threat reaches Oreana Jackson (Natalie Alyn Lind), who screams in fear. Rumors suggest that Beth and Beulah Jackson may form an uneasy alliance, possibly confronting the mysterious antagonist Mariano Reyes (Raoul Max Trujillo).
The first four episodes have set the stage for Beth and Rip’s campaign in Rio Paloma to unfold in unpredictable ways. Audiences worldwide will soon discover who can be trusted and who will fall.
Everyone in Dutton Ranch will be part of the fight to come, as Beth prepares Carter (Finn Little) to get “ready for the hard part.” Hired gunmen are seen approaching the Jacksons’ family home, and the violence gets close enough to Oreana Jackson (Natalie Alyn Lind) to make her scream.
However, it also seems that Beulah Jackson and Beth Dutton find themselves in cahoots, as they fly on a private jet together. Whether a temporary alliance or not, perhaps Beth and Beulah join forces to oppose the mystery villain, Mariano Reyes (Raoul Max Trujillo).
Dutton Ranch’s first four episodes have set the table for Beth and Rip’s story in Rio Paloma to go in all sorts of exciting directions. It’s not clear who’s good, who’s truly bad, or who can be trusted, but Dutton Ranch’s global audience is in for a wild ride as the rest of season 1 unfolds.
