Zuffa Boxing launched its events in January, with UFC president Dana White overseeing a venture aimed at reshaping the boxing landscape.
The organization’s inaugural UK event, secured through a broadcast agreement with Sky Sports, was challenged by British promoter Boxxer, which alleged that Billam-Smith, Jack Massey and Sam Hickey were competing without consent or authorization.
Saturday’s card featured rapid action, with seven of the eight scheduled bouts concluding inside the distance.
The main‑event ring‑walks commenced at 21:15 BST, as Rozicki entered with a book honoring Jack Dempsey and wore brown gloves and boots paying homage to the late heavyweight champion.
Prominent boxing personalities were present from early on, including welterweight Conor Benn—who signed with Zuffa Boxing in February—and British heavyweights Derek Chisora and David Adeleye.
Local notable figures also attended, such as AFC Bournemouth co‑CEO Jim Frevola seated behind Zuffa Boxing leaders Dana White and Nick Khan, while UFC flyweight Lone’er Kavanagh and WWE star Finn Balor were also ringside.
The Bournemouth International Centre, renowned for its electric atmosphere at previous Billam‑Smith events, once again delivered a memorable environment.
The night’s biggest cheers were reserved for hometown fighters, with Bournemouth middleweight Lee Cutler securing a victory.
