Bitcoin surpassed $64,000 during Asian trading hours on Monday, gaining half a percent intraday while remaining nearly 3% lower for the week. Despite a softer U.S. dollar and diminishing expectations for Federal Reserve rate increases, broader cryptocurrency markets struggled to break out of their recent trading ranges.

Among major tokens, Hyperliquid’s HYPE emerged as the strongest performer, rising more than 3% to reach $59 and posting a weekly gain of nearly 9%. Ether advanced over 1% to approach $1,900, though it remained down approximately 1% over seven days. Dogecoin gained nearly 1% to trade around 7 cents, while Tron edged up less than half a percent to just above 33 cents. XRP saw marginal gains to $1 but stayed 3% lower for the week. Solana climbed slightly above $75, down nearly 2% over seven days, and BNB dipped marginally to just over $604, remaining flat for the week.

The improved macro environment provided limited support for crypto assets. A Bloomberg gauge tracking the dollar slipped 0.1%, extending losses toward a level last seen in May, while MSCI’s emerging-market currency index reached an intraday high, driven by strength in the Taiwanese dollar and Thai baht.
