Blackpink’s Jisoo Delivers Romantic Solo Single “Click” with Cinematic New Video

Jisoo of Blackpink has released a new solo single titled “Click,” accompanied by an official music video. Directed by Joseph Kahn, the cinematic visual casts the singer as the final sentient cyborg in an abandoned, time-forgotten theme park.

The reflective pop track explores the experience of “the rare moment when two people from completely different worlds find one another and everything simply falls into place,” according to a press release.

“Click” marks the beginning of a new solo era for Jisoo. The vocalist has spent recent months building anticipation for her first full-length studio album. In a May conversation with V Magazine, she shared that she was “working on showing a wider range of music.” More recently, during an appearance on Hot Ones, she expressed her desire to “further explore my true colors.”

“I made the effort to show a variety of charms,” she explained. “Whether it’s musical styles that I really liked or putting in different styles I liked listening to, it was to add a bit of color to the album.”

Last year, Jisoo released “Eyes Closed,” a collaboration with Zayn. The track was her first solo offering following her 2025 EP, Amortage, which included the songs “Earthquake,” “Hugs & Kisses,” and “Your Love.” She previously debuted her solo catalog with the 2023 EP, Me.

Blackpink recently reunited for a new mini album, Deadline, as well as the Deadline World Tour, which concluded in Hong Kong in July. Deadline, released in February, features five tracks, including the group’s comeback single “Jump.”

Jisoo’s new release follows her bandmate Lisa’s track “SaWaDiKa.” In July, fellow Blackpink member Jennie released “Less Than a Lover,” officially launching the group’s broader solo era.
