Bradford Culture Company has revealed that eight local projects will receive funding of up to £20,000 each through its latest round of legacy grants. The announcement represents a combined investment of up to £160,000 supporting community-driven cultural initiatives across the district.
The funded projects were selected following a competitive application process that attracted proposals from organizations and individuals across Bradford’s diverse communities. Each recipient project is now preparing to begin work that will strengthen local cultural infrastructure and create lasting benefits for residents.
This new funding round builds upon the Cultural Company’s ongoing commitment to ensuring lasting impact from the City of Culture designation. The legacy grants programme specifically supports smaller scale initiatives that might not typically access major funding streams, but which demonstrate strong community engagement and creative ambition.
Detailed information about each funded project will be published in the coming weeks as recipients finalise their plans and begin implementation.
