Braun Strowman has officially returned to competition.
He made his in‑ring debut over the weekend at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl, marking his first match since his WWE contract expired in July 2025.
Strowman teamed with Kal Herro for the bout, defeating Tony Evans, Drew Hernandez and Tommy Boy in a handicap match. The appearance also marked his first competition since the April 18, 2025 episode of WWE SmackDown, ending a layoff of more than a year.
During his time away from wrestling, Strowman faced several health challenges while also achieving success with his USA Network series Everything on the Menu, which airs following WWE SmackDown.
Strowman had previously stated that a return would only occur if the right opportunity presented itself; in May he humorously noted that a massive shipment of gold would be needed to lure him back.
His recent GLCW appearance confirms his first match since departing WWE, though further appearances have yet to be announced.
