The Cleveland Browns will play the remainder of Sunday’s matchup against the New York Jets without wide receiver KC Concepcion, who has been ruled out with a head injury.

Concepcion remained on the turf after absorbing a significant hit to the head from Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick while attempting a catch. Fitzpatrick drew a personal foul penalty—his second on the drive—and Concepcion eventually walked to the locker room under his own power before the team officially announced his departure.

The penalty advanced the ball to the Jets’ 12-yard line, but the Browns’ offense stalled inside the red zone. Cleveland settled for an Andre Szmyt field goal, cutting New York’s lead to 7-3 with 3:27 remaining in the first quarter.
