Around 2:00 AM on Friday, Buckcherry’s tour bus was involved in a multi‑vehicle accident on I‑26 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, according to the group’s social‑media statement. Tragically, authorities confirmed the collision that occurred ahead of the bus resulted in a fatality, and they extended their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased. No further details about the crash or the identity of the victim have been provided.

Buckcherry’s scheduled performance at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Friday is expected to proceed as planned, with no changes to the tour schedule.
The current tour supports the band’s eleventh album, Roar Like Thunder, released in June 2025 by Round Hill Records in North America. The LP was recorded at Sienna Studios in Nashville and produced by Marti Frederiksen, with all ten tracks written by frontman Josh Todd, guitarist Stevie Dacanay (Stevie D), and Frederiksen.
Buckcherry’s current lineup consists of Josh Todd as the sole original member, alongside Stevie Dacanay, Billy Rowe, Kelly LeMieux, and drummer Francis Ruiz.
