Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud saw action in his first game since his postseason performance in New England. During the first possession, he completed 4 of 6 passes for 27 yards, leading the team to a touchdown before being replaced after Woody Marks’ 20-yard rushing score.

Marks contributed significantly with four carries for 37 yards and one reception for 6 yards. The Texans built a 17-0 advantage in the first quarter, fueled by linebacker Wade Woodaz’s 80-yard interception return and kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn’s 51-yard field goal, both resulting from plays orchestrated by backup quarterback Davis Mills.

Stroud’s previous playoff games featured seven turnovers, including four interceptions in the divisional round against the Patriots.
