Following the unanimous decision of the CAF Executive Committee on 29 October 2026 to restore the biennial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), CAF has issued an amendment to the Commercial Rights Invitation to Tender (ITT) originally published on 23 July 2026, seeking commercial rights partners. The amendment, released on 2 November, specifies the three AFCON editions covered by the tender.
The ITT applies to the next three AFCON tournaments after the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027, namely the finals and qualifiers for the 2028, 2031 and 2033 editions.
The deadline for submitting bids under the amended ITT is Monday, 16 November 2026, at 17:00 Cairo local time.
