According to NBC Sports research, Caleb Williams needs just one more game to tie Sid Luckman’s franchise record of eight straight contests with two or more passing touchdowns.

Williams has already reached that mark in seven consecutive games, including the 2025 postseason. It underscores a dramatic shift for an offense that has historically struggled, as the passing game enters a new era of productivity.

Last season, Williams finished with 3,942 passing yards, surpassing Erik Kramer’s 30-year-old franchise mark. Reaching 4,000 yards appears increasingly likely — possibly as soon as this campaign.
