The band’s eighth studio album, ‘Give Me Dirt’, is slated for release on 7 August via Bat Skull and Marshall Records.

This will be the group’s first release on Marshall Records, following their 2022 album ‘Psychic Jailbreak’. The record was produced by Kurt Ballou with engineer Zach Weeks at God City Studios in Salem, Massachusetts, and features the current lineup of Liam Cormier, Mike Peters, Jaye Schwarzer and Jackson Landry.

Cancer Bats have released the new single ‘Stay Stuck’, accompanied by a video directed by Mitch Barnes.

“‘Stay Stuck’ was a fun song for us to write,” Cormier said. “It was one of the first tracks we completed for the new record, and we felt it captured the classic, upbeat Cancer Bats sound that has defined our music since the beginning.”

‘Psychic Jailbreak’ arrived in 2022 as the band’s first album since founding guitarist Scott Middleton’s departure. In a 2022 interview with NME, Cormier noted that IDLES are currently the biggest hardcore band on the planet. The group will also appear at the 2000trees festival at Upcote Farm in Cheltenham in July, ahead of their October UK tour.
