Milan (AP) — Cardi B drew a swarm of photographers as she arrived at the Roberto Cavalli runway show Thursday, lending celebrity allure to Milan Fashion Week.
Dressed in an animal-print coat, dark sunglasses and a voluminous blowout, the rapper took her seat beside stylist Kollin Carter before the show began.
Fausto Puglisi amplified the Cavalli energy with his Spring-Summer 2027 womenswear collection, expanding the label’s signature vocabulary with animal prints, florals, feathers, exposed skin and embellished denim.
Flowing robes were layered over low-rise jeans styled with thongs and bra tops. Cropped jeans sparkled with crystals and were decorated with feathers, while a mesh minidress burst with crinkled gold ruffles. Long chiffon skirts featured shredded hems, and animal prints were combined in a vivid, jungle-inspired mix. The joyful, unapologetic presentation brought together Cavalli’s defining codes of sensuality, glamour and wildness.
“What I like about Cavalli is that you have the possibility to create jeans as an object,’’ Puglisi said backstage. “You feel them, you have them and you put them in your wardrobe, and you feel better. It’s about joy.”
