Following a previous loan stint at Millwall, Scanlon featured for Liverpool during their pre-season campaign. He has now been sent out to gain further senior experience and will compete with Joel Bagan for a starting position.
“I’m ready to go; pre-season has been very positive and I’ve managed to get some vital minutes,” he remarked. “It has been a great experience, and my body is prepared for the upcoming season.”
