The Cardiff Devils successfully kicked off their pre-season campaign by securing a 4-1 victory over the Odense Bulldogs, completing a double over the Danish side to begin the new season on a high note.
An evenly matched opening period saw goals from Evan Mosey and Joey Martin for the Devils, sandwiched around a Markus Jensen strike, leaving the score locked at 2-1 in Cardiff’s favor after 20 minutes of play.
The Devils continued their momentum in the second frame when Brandon Estes found the back of the net, eventually sealing the win with a fourth goal from Panu Mieho into the empty net with just 2:10 remaining in the third period.
The strong start was met with incredible fan support, as both contests at the Vindico Arena sold out to a capacity crowd of 3,110 spectators, signaling an exciting campaign ahead.
