During the Cowboys’ training camp in Oxnard, several players’ homes remained unoccupied.
One of those residences was broken into.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, which cited The Spit Bucket Podcast, one or more thieves stole more than $300,000 worth of property from receiver CeeDee Lamb’s home on July 30.
A staff member discovered a broken window at the property the following day.
The theft involved four luxury handbags, and no suspects have been identified as of now.
In recent years, criminal rings have targeted professional athletes, exploiting their predictable travel schedules. Typically, these thefts occur during road trips or home games. For the Cowboys, this pattern coincides with their annual extended training camp in California.
