Marco Rubio, Secretary of State
On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my congratulations to the people of Guinea on the 68th anniversary of their independence.
The United States and Guinea enjoy a strengthening partnership grounded in mutual interests. This year, alongside Guinea’s elected leadership, we expanded collaboration on critical mineral development to bolster secure and reliable supply chains, and inaugurated a new global health security initiative aimed at helping Guinea establish a sustainable, self-reliant public health system. These efforts underscore our joint commitment to fostering prosperity and security for both nations.
I wish all Guineans a joyous celebration of this significant national day.
