Digital Anti-Hate Unit
LAHORE: The Punjab government has established a dedicated digital media cell in the home department to monitor and curb the spread of sectarian, violent, and hate content on social media during Muharram, enhancing security measures to maintain law and order while promoting interfaith harmony across the province.
Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar emphasized the critical role of immediate action against those spreading hatred or provocative content.
He stressed the urgency of resolving such issues promptly to protect community well-being.
