Charlotte Flair has publicly shared that she and her father, Ric Flair, argue daily regarding his social media activity and the comments he posts online.
During a recent appearance on the “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Charlotte elaborated on the persistent nature of these disputes, stating, “The amount that we fight about his social media. I cannot tell you, it’s a daily thing. I’m like, ‘Why are you in all caps? Why are you yelling at me in your posts?’ Here is what I learned.”
She further explained a conversation with Natalya, who pointed out that Ric has earned the right to express his opinions. Charlotte reflected, “I was talking to Nattie the other day, and she was talking about Bret, and I was talking about my dad, and she’s like, ‘You know what, he’s earned the right to have an opinion.’ I was like, ‘Okay, that’s one way to look at it.’ Just let him have his opinion. I’m like, ‘Who are you fighting with? I’m just confused.’ He’s like, ‘I saw it here.’ Seven people follow that website. I comment sometimes. When it’s really bad, I won’t comment because I don’t want to draw.”
These comments garnered attention from Natalya, who shared her own views on navigating online disagreements via social media.
We’re not always going to agree with each other’s opinions (esp on X!!!!) but we’re all entitled to feel the way we feel. We can disagree and still respect where the other person is coming from. I try to exercise this daily even when it’s hard to….
