Lime Garden introduce a new single called ‘Moving Target’, arriving ahead of a headline tour commencement later this week.

This release follows the Brighton quartet’s breakthrough sophomore album ‘Maybe Not Tonight’, lifted in late summer and serving as the follow‑up to their 2024 debut ‘One More Thing’.

Drawing on the emotional turbulence of recent months, vocalist Chloe Howard delivers a standalone track that charts the highs and lows of fall‑in‑love dynamics.

“‘Moving Target’ explores the ache of infatuation even when you sense the relationship cannot endure,” Howward explained. “It is unusual to feel inexorably drawn to another person—once attraction strikes, you must accept you will encounter setbacks. Heartache proves valuable in the process.”

Produced in collaboration with album producer Charlie Andrew (also behind Wolf Alice and Alt‑J), the composition is paired with a tongue‑in‑cheek video featuring spoken‑word artist Antony Szmierek.

The single arrives just before the group opens their 2026 UK tour, kicking off in Bristol on Friday, 2 October, with additional shows scheduled across Oxford, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Manchester and beyond.

After Birmingham’s penultimate date at the Castle & Falcon on 20 October, the tour closes in London with a finale at Electric Brixton on 21 October. Details can be found via the event link.

In discussion with NME, Howard reflected on the broader intent of the record: a reflection on navigating early adulthood, body confidence, and expectation management. “The album asks us to confront the consequences of our choices, yet crafting it helped me learn to live a little more boldly. Savor every moment—the future unfolds.”
