Chelsea and Liverpool Discover the Fee Needed to Sign Bournemouth’s Alex Scott during the winter transfer window.
Scott attracted significant interest from Chelsea during the previous transfer window, but their £64 million bid was rejected.
The Blues are preparing a renewed move for the midfielder at the start of the new year, and BBC Sport reports that they have received encouraging news.
According to the outlet, Bournemouth would consider selling Scott for approximately £100 million after talks with his representatives.
Scott is unwilling to extend his contract beyond June 2028, prompting the South Coast club to entertain a sale of the England international.
Should Bournemouth find themselves battling relegation, they might opt to retain him to aid their Premier League survival efforts.
Besides Chelsea, Liverpool continues to show interest in acquiring the talented midfielder, while Manchester United and Arsenal have shifted their focus elsewhere.
