Chelsea Ready to Offload Two Defenders Following Chalobah’s Exit

Chelsea are preparing to part ways with two more defenders after the departure of Trevoh Chalobah to Como this summer.

The Blues recently reached an agreement to sell Chalobah to Como, but there could be more exits before the transfer window closes.

Axel Disasi, who had a successful loan stint with West Ham United during the back end of last season, could be permitted to leave permanently.

Crystal Palace appear to be the most interested in Disasi, though they prefer a loan move with an obligation to buy next summer.

Benoit Badiashile, who has trained away from the first-team group in pre-season, may soon depart as well.

The former Monaco player is being monitored by Serie A giants Napoli, with Juventus also linked to the talented centre-back.

Chelsea are expected to demand a minimum of £25m for either defender, though no formal bids have been submitted thus far.
