Christine and the Queens Double Down on New Single; Spring Album Expected

After three years since his final solo album—a 20-track project inspired by Angels in America—Christine and the Queens returns with a double single, offering listeners two distinct versions of the same track. The new release features a French rendition, “Rendez-vous avec toi,” alongside an English version, “Rendez-vous in your arms,” each accompanied by a music video co-directed by Chris and Raphaël De Albuquerque and choreographed by Alexander Ekman.

These tracks serve as the first previews of a still-untitled new album from Christine and the Queens, slated for release sometime this spring. The forthcoming release follows his 2025 EP Catching Feelings with Italo disco icon Cerrone and his 2024 album Hopecore, which was released under the alias Rahim Redcar.

Chris will support the double single with four full-band performances across Europe and the United Kingdom this December. The tour schedule includes shows in Brussels, London, and Amsterdam, culminating in a final set at the Alhambra in Paris. In his press materials, Chris explained: “We will revisit a repertoire that made us grow together, and give a first listen to unreleased songs from the next album. We revisit, we reinterpret, we remember, and we transcend.”
