Cody Rhodes is increasingly comfortable claiming his position as the face of WWE, even while acknowledging that the ultimate title rests in the hands of the audience.

During an appearance on the Ariel Helwani Show, the Undisputed WWE Champion was questioned regarding his status as the company’s primary figure. Rhodes initially deferred to the fans, stating, “I would say the face of the company is whoever you, as a fan, deem as the face of WWE is the face of WWE.”

“The beautiful thing now is that there are more than two candidates—maybe even more than five,” Rhodes added. “There are many individuals with massive followings. If the fans view me that way, I am honored and treat it as a significant responsibility.”

While Rhodes initially hesitated to name a specific group, he ultimately decided to assert his own standing, citing the importance of self-assurance and the prestige of his current championship.

“Confidence is a vital component of this business, particularly when you hold the WWE Championship—which remains the most prestigious prize in the industry,” Rhodes remarked. “So, I am going to go ahead and say it: I am the face of WWE.”

Despite his bold claim, Rhodes acknowledged the presence of other elite superstars who could just as easily hold the mantle. “You are safe if you say Roman Reigns is. You are safe if you say Rhea Ripley is. If you say CM Punk or Liv Morgan—those seem to be safe names as well,” he concluded.
