Duncan Dalmao, who served four seasons as head coach of the Indy Fuel, has been appointed assistant coach for the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League.
During his tenure, Dalmao compiled a record of 159‑112‑34, guiding the Fuel to the Kelly Cup Playoffs in each of his four complete seasons. Prior to joining Bakersfield, he spent two years as an assistant coach with the Brampton Beast, working under head coach Colin Chaulk, now the Condors’ head coach.
Prior to his coaching career, Dalmao recorded 201 career points (49 goals, 152 assists) over 391 ECHL games with Jacksonville, Birmingham, Pee Dee, Roanoke, and Greenville, earning the ECHL Defenseman of the Year Award in 2001‑02.
