Cotton futures declined between 150 and 275 points during Wednesday’s midday trading. Crude oil rose 71 cents per barrel, while the U.S. dollar index fell 0.122 points. The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported sales of 1,166 bales on September 1 at an average price of 89.24 cents per pound, according to The Cotlook.
