Large crowds have gathered at a canal in South Korea to watch a stranded shark.
The 9-foot-10-inch (3-meter) shark, nicknamed Bukangi, was first spotted in the waterway last month in the southeastern city of Busan.
Early on Thursday morning local time, South Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries said the shark had been successfully guided out of the canal.
Officials believe the shark may have been drawn to the canal by unusually warm water and an abundance of fish.
BBC correspondent Jake Kwon went to Busan to follow the latest attempt to rescue Bukangi, who has since been guided out of the canal.
