Japan’s OKJ to List Midnight’s NIGHT Token

Japanese cryptocurrency exchange OKJ announced on October 10 its plans to list Midnight’s NIGHT token on October 13 at 5:00 p.m. Japan time. This addition will increase the exchange’s total supported assets to 55. The listing will encompass exchange trading, brokerage purchases, recurring purchases, deposits, and withdrawals, with transfers supported over the Cardano network. According to OKJ’s internal research, this move will position the exchange as the first in Japan to offer NIGHT through order-book trading.

MEXC to Remove 14 Perpetual Futures Markets

MEXC published a notice on October 10 stating that 14 USDT-margined perpetual futures markets will be delisted on October 14 at 7:00 a.m. UTC. The affected contracts include BOBA, RON, ZBCN, and TFUEL, among others. Upon the deadline, the exchange will automatically cancel all outstanding orders and settle remaining positions based on its fair price at that moment. Additionally, these contracts will be removed from demo trading and futures grid trading platforms where applicable.

KuCoin Temporarily Suspends Monero (XMR) Services

On October 10, KuCoin announced the temporary suspension of Monero deposits and withdrawals to perform essential wallet maintenance. The exchange stated that services would resume once the maintenance is completed, though it did not provide an exact timeline for restoration. Furthermore, KuCoin informed users that the completion of the maintenance will not be accompanied by a separate notification.
