Curtis Axel Faces Multiple Charges Following McDonald’s Incident

WWE veteran Curtis Axel has encountered a series of legal difficulties following his arrest at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Minnesota. The incident arose when he was involved in a DWI case and other related charges.

Axel, whose real name is Joseph Hennig, was reportedly arrested on May 17 in Anoka County. Prosecutors alleged driving while impaired due to a refusal to participate in chemical testing. Additional charges include obstructing public order and disorderly conduct.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by The Watch MN, Axel reportedly resisted being removed from the vehicle and verbally confronted police, uttering inflammatory remarks such as “I don’t give a s***” and “f*** you!” during the encounter.

A tale of resilience continues as Axel remains connected to professional wrestling; he is a third-generation champion and the son of renowned figure Larry ‘The Ax’ Hennig.
