Cynthia Erivo unveiled the latest additions to the magical ensemble of *Bad Fairies* during a live announcement at the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday.

While performing her one-night-only concert *Let Me Sing to You*, the two-time Grammy award‑winner announced that Kylie Minogue, Jonathan Groff and Catherine Tate will join her in the Warner Bros./Locksmith animated musical comedy, set for a theatrical release on May 21 2027. She also previewed an orchestral version of her character Jayne’s song “Hard to Believe”.

Minogue will voice Clowder, the Cat Witch; Groff will take on Robin Goodfellow; and Tate will portray the Fairy Gothmother. They join Cynthia Erivo, who stars as Jayne Staplegun.

Minogue, who attended Thursday’s show, shared her excitement: “I’m thrilled to be part of *Bad Fairies* alongside the incredible Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Groff and a stellar voice cast. Playing both a cat and a witch feels magical, mischievous and a lot of fun.”

Directed by Megan Nicole Dong, with co‑direction by Olivier Staphylas, *Bad Fairies* is an original musical comedy set in modern London. It follows a mischievous band of fairies who upend their magical world, and the screenplay is by Deborah Frances‑White.

The previously announced cast features Serrana Su‑Ling Bliss as Fei Chang, James Acaster as Stickers, Dee Bradley Baker as Groundbeef and Ncuti Gatwa as Butterwort.

Tony‑winning duo Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, creators of *Six: The Musical*, are penning original songs, while Grammy‑nominated Isabella “Machine” Summers of Florence + the Machine composes the score and contributes to the soundtrack. Ian Eisendrath, known for *KPop Demon Hunters*, serves as executive music producer.

Kylie Minogue is represented by Jason Weinberg of Untitled and Polly Bhowmik of Context Management. Jonathan Groff is represented by Brian Boone and Joe Michota at CAA. Catherine Tate is represented by Jeremy Barber at UTA and Robert Taylor at The Artists Partnership.
