Daba Finance Partners with Coronation to Broaden International Access to Nigerian Capital Markets

Daba Markets Inc., the company behind Daba Finance, has announced a strategic partnership with Coronation Securities Limited and Coronation Asset Management Limited aimed at expanding access to Nigeria’s capital market for qualified international investors.

The collaboration seeks to merge market insights, investor education, and digital accessibility to bridge the gap between global investors and Nigerian financial opportunities. A joint statement revealed that the initiative will leverage both companies’ strengths to provide seamless access to Nigeria’s evolving capital market landscape.

As part of the agreement, Daba Finance will operate as a corporate client under a trust framework managed by Coronation, enabling eligible users of its platform to engage with Nigerian capital market offerings distributed by Coronation. All Nigerian financial services will be delivered in compliance with regulations set forth by the Securities and Exchange Commission, ensuring adherence to local standards.

Daba Finance will enhance its platform with Nigerian market updates, analytical reports, and research publications sourced from Coronation, providing users with real-time intelligence and expert perspectives on market movements. Additionally, the firms plan to launch educational programs via Daba Academy and Coronation Investment Academy, complemented by webinars focused on demystifying Nigeria’s capital instruments, regulatory safeguards, and investment strategies.

Eligible Daba Finance users can expect integrated features such as digital onboarding, multi-currency funding options, trade execution, and comprehensive reporting tools—all designed to streamline the investment process. While Daba oversees the user experience on its platform, Coronation will supply the necessary market expertise and investment products under the agreed-upon corporate trust model.
