Danhausen Brings a Freezing New Pop-Up Experience to Minneapolis This SummerSlam Week

Danhausen is taking over SummerSlam week in Minneapolis with his “Danhausen Freeze Tours.”

Danhausen arrived in WWE in 2026 as both a hypercharged mascot and a part-time ambassador. To kick off SummerSlam week, the self-proclaimed king of the curse will partner with ESPN to launch the inaugural Danhausen Freeze Tour. Fans can follow a customized popsicle truck on its route through the greater Minneapolis area, with stops from Downtown East Commons Park to the Convention Center and U.S. Bank Stadium, where they can spin a flavor wheel to choose frozen treats.

Although Danhausen had only been with WWE for two months, the company erected a dedicated exhibit at WWE World during WrestleMania week. He also collaborated with the Goodyear Blimp, launching a curse over the entire city of Las Vegas from the skies.

Danhausen stepped into mainstream consciousness when he cursed and then un-cursed the New York Knicks, paving the way for the franchise to win the NBA Championship after a 52-year drought. Now in Minneapolis—the home of the Super Bowl-starved Minnesota Vikings, one of the most cursed NFL franchises in history—he will likely be inundated with pleas to lift the city’s sports misfortune as the NFL season approaches.

Danhausen most recently competed at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where he defeated JD McDonagh with a boost from NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns.
