Rams wide receiver Davante Adams has been placed on injured reserve and will undergo a “cleanup” procedure on his hamstring. Head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Wednesday that the surgery is expected to be scheduled in the near future.
“I think they’re going to give it a couple of days and figure out exactly when is the best time,” McVay said. Adams is expected to miss 6-10 weeks due to the injury.
Adams is one of four Rams players to land on injured reserve this week, joining defensive tackle Poona Ford, kicker Blake Grupe, and defensive lineman Kobie Turner.
