Italian vocalist Pausini expressed her enthusiasm and honor in collaborating with Robbie Williams and Jennifer Scherzinger during the World Cup’s closing ceremony, as revealed to BBC’s Carl Nasman.
“Upon Robbie Williams’ invitation to perform together, I experienced an overwhelming sense of excitement, as he stands among my most admired artists in the realms of songwriting and performance,” Pausini shared.
The event’s halftime segment will feature appearances from Madonna, Justin Bieber, Shakira, and the globally renowned K-pop group BTS.
Madonna, recognized as the highest-selling female music artist globally, is set to take the stage following the release of her latest album, *Confessions II*, which achieved the top position on the Billboard 200 in July.
Justin Bieber recently made a significant return to live performances with a major showcase at the Coachella festival, following the suspension of his Justice World Tour due to health-related challenges.
