Defensive end A.J. Epenesa has formally joined the Eagles, marking a new chapter in his career. The team also finalized the signing of offensive guard Michael Jordan.
This agreement follows three months after the Browns aborted negotiations to acquire Epenesa. Simultaneously, the Eagles released linebackers Chandler Martin and Isiah King.
Epenesa’s recruitment included visits to the Dolphins and Bears after the Browns terminated their offer due to failed physical assessments on March 29. Despite sustaining multiple injuries—including a concussion, pectoral, foot, and neck wounds last season—he competed in 16 regular-season games for 32 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
Notably, he participated in the divisional playoff despite being listed on the injury report for a neck ailment.
A 2020 second-round selection, Epenesa has accumulated 91 career regular-season appearances across six seasons, including 19 starts and 24 sacks with the Bills.
Jordan entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick from the Bengals in 2019. He has since played for the Panthers, Patriots, and Buccaneers, appearing in 11 games with nine starts during his most recent stint.
Throughout his professional career, Jordan has accumulated 78 career games, with 49 starts to his name.
