During a recent Highspots Sign-It Live session, AEW star and New York native Eddie Kingston shared details regarding his celebration of the New York Knicks’ recent NBA Finals success. The Knicks secured their first NBA Championship in 53 years after defeating the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5.
Kingston revealed that his exuberant reaction to the victory prompted his neighbors to contact law enforcement. Speaking to WrestlingInc.com, Kingston explained, “My neighbors called the cops on me after OG hit that shot to win the game for the Knicks. I was screaming and yelling, and I threw a bunch of stuff in the house ’cause we destroy things.”
While Kingston did not disclose the specific outcome of the police arrival, he did mention that he has considered getting a small Knicks-themed tattoo positioned under his eye.
Eddie Kingston continues to compete regularly for Ring of Honor (ROH). His most recent appearance was on the June 11 episode of ROH on HonorClub TV, where he and Ortiz secured a victory over The Workhorsemen (Anthony Henry & JD Drake) in a tag team match.
