El Grande Americano has made his long-awaited return to WWE RAW.
Mere hours after claiming the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania 34, El Grande Americano stepped back onto the WWE RAW stage.
During the September 14, 2026, Monday night episode of WWE RAW in Mexico City, Rey Mysterio introduced newly crowned champion Stephanie Vaquer for her title celebration. However, the moment was cut short when Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan interrupted the proceedings.
Tensions escalated as Dominik Mysterio proposed a tag team match against Vaquer and his father. However, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce halted the contest, citing Mysterio’s kayfabe neck injury. Instead, Pearce introduced El Grande Americano, who received a thunderous ovation from the Mexican crowd.
El Grande Americano and Stephanie Vaquer quickly joined forces to face Mysterio and Morgan. Although the new champions seemed poised for victory, The Judgment Day intervened and brutally attacked the duo. The bout concluded with Mysterio and Morgan standing tall, as Americano and Vaquer were awarded the win by disqualification.
El Grande Americano’s previous WWE RAW appearance occurred on the May 18, 2026, episode, where he alongside Los Americanos (Rayo and Bravo) defeated Los Americanos Hermanos (Bruto Creedo and Julio Creedo) alongside the original El Grande Americano.
