Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” Hits No. 1
Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” topped the Official Singles chart this week, climbing from number three. The track also claimed the top spot on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts, marking its first number‑one positions on three of the four main UK rankings.
Ella Langley Scores Her First No. 1s in the U.K.
“Choosin’ Texas” has been Langley’s biggest hit across the sales, downloads and streams charts for some time. It now holds the number‑one spot on those three tables simultaneously. On the Official Streaming chart, which measures play counts on services such as Spotify and Apple Music, the song remains at its historic high of number four.
Two Ella Langley Hits Reach New Peaks
Two of Langley’s three entries on the Official Singles chart rose this week. While “Choosin’ Texas” claimed the top spot, “Weren’t for the Wind” advanced two places to number 78, setting a new personal high after gaining international exposure following the success of its sister track.
The Official Charts Company, the UK’s equivalent of Billboard, limits each artist to three positions on the Official Singles chart as a lead act. Langley is again at that maximum, with “Choosin’ Texas” and “Weren’t for the Wind” climbing to new peaks. A third single, “Be Her,” also rose from 33 to 30, approaching its all‑time high of 28.
Ella Langley Lands Two Additional Comebacks
Two additional Langley collaborations reentered the UK charts this week. “You Look Like You Love Me” featuring Riley Green returned to the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts at numbers 80 and 93 respectively, recalling its previous top‑40 performance.
A further partnership, “Jaded” with fellow country artist Koe Wetzel, also made a comeback. The song reentered the Official Singles Sales chart at 96 and climbed 13 places to 83 on the Official Singles Downloads chart, reaffirming its crossover appeal.
