1. Sponsor
NerdWallet, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) is located at 4150 Drinkwater Blvd, Suite 200, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, USA.
2. Eligibility
The sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States (including the District of Columbia) who are at least the age of majority in their state of residence. Employees, agents, affiliates, and immediate family members of the Sponsor are not eligible. Participation confirms agreement to the official rules.
3. Timing
The contest runs from August 27, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) through September 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. PST. The Sponsor’s computer system will serve as the official time‑keeping device.
4. How to Enter
Two entry methods are available:
Method 1 – Survey: Complete the Smart Money Podcast survey at nerdwallet.com/podsurvey. Providing a valid first and last name and a working email address automatically enters the contest. Survey submissions without name and email are not entered.
Method 2 – Email: Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “NerdWallet’s Smart Money Podcast Sweepstakes.” Include your full name, email address, and zip code. Limit one entry per person or email address; additional entries from the same address will be disqualified.
Automated or duplicate entries are prohibited. Normal internet service fees may apply.
5. Drawing and Winner Notification
On or about October 1, 2026, the Sponsor will conduct a random drawing of all eligible entries to select two potential winners. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries. Winners will be notified by email to the address supplied during entry.
Potential winners have 72 hours to respond with a valid physical mailing address (P.O. boxes may or may not be accepted) to claim the prize. Failure to respond or provide required information results in forfeiture and an alternate winner will be chosen.
6. Prize
Each winner will receive one of two $250 Amazon gift cards (approximate retail value $250). Prizes are non‑transferable and cannot be substituted except at the Sponsor’s discretion. Winners are responsible for any taxes or fees.
7. Winner Verification
Potential winners must verify eligibility and sign a declaration of eligibility and liability release as requested by the Sponsor. The Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.
8. Publicity
By accepting a prize, winners grant NerdWallet the right to use their name, city, state, likeness, quotes, photo, and prize information for promotional, advertising, and other purposes worldwide, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
9. Release
Participants release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising agencies, and prize suppliers from any claims, including personal injury, death, property damage, intellectual‑property infringement, defamation, or privacy violations arising from contest participation or prize use.
10. Limitations of Liability
The Sponsor is not liable for technical failures, incorrect information, unauthorized interventions, errors in administration, or any injury or damage arising from the contest or prize use. In the event of a contest cancellation, the Sponsor may award prizes by random drawing from eligible entries.
11. Disputes
Any disputes are resolved individually in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California or the appropriate California state court in San Francisco County. Claims are limited to actual out‑of‑pocket costs; participants waive rights to class actions, punitive, indirect, or consequential damages.
12. Entrant’s Personal Information
Entrant data is handled in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
