WWE has reportedly begun production on promotional vignettes for Lola Vice, signaling her imminent transition to the main roster.
According to industry sources, the 28-year-old wrestler has already filmed segments intended to introduce her to the SmackDown audience, with plans for these vignettes to air in the near future.
Vice’s most recent in-ring appearance was on the August 4 episode of NXT, where she challenged Kendal Grey for the NXT Women’s Championship in an NXT Underground match. This bout is widely viewed as her farewell to the NXT brand as she prepares for the next chapter of her career.
Concurrently, Vice has concluded her tenure with promotions outside WWE, including AAA. At the Verano de Escándalo event on July 25, she and Mr. Iguana were defeated by La Hiedra and Laredo Kid, resulting in the loss of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championships.
With both her NXT and AAA commitments now behind her, all signs point to Lola Vice making her debut on Friday nights. WWE is expected to use the upcoming vignettes to build anticipation for her arrival on SmackDown.
